I have a 2000 f-150 2 wheel drive i was wondering what is needed to swap a 5.4 lightning motor into my truck that has a 4.6? How much work would it be? can i use the stock ecu and everything or do i need the 5.4 one?
I would greatly appreciate the help.

 

you could use the stock ecu if you had a custom tune done to make all the changes needed for the 5.4 but the cheapest route would be the doner route and get all the pieces from one wreck. just my .02
