2001 supercrew 4.6l with 195,000 and 97 5.4 with 235,000 miles. No major troubles.

 

97 4.6 180000+, minor ignition problems, alternator (amp n sub ate it, buy a capacitor boys), water pump. i think that sums up all the problems i had up front with the engine.

 

Just over 35k miles with no real trouble. One bad spark plug at just over 10k miles, and I'm on my third head unit, but motor and trans are running strong.

 

I got mine a year ago with 44,500 miles miles just turned 60K yesterday, no problems and now and then i beat the hell out of it. Flowmaster 50 series SIDO, K&N 77 series, Edge 2100, soon to get e-fans and trans cooler.

Just turned 220000

 

I just bought a 01, 4.6L, Romeo, with 57,000. The kicker is that it is a 5 speed manual tranny. I look forward to the amount of time I will have with it.

 

No problems with my 4.6 or the tranny. I have only had to replace the EGR sensor(i dont know what its really called), the alternator and starter(starter was my fault though). I put a flowmaster race series muffler on it and a K&N filter, thats it. She runs great. Original plugs and wires also.
