Question about chips

From what i understand the 97 F150's have 210 hp stock, and the newer ones, NOT BRAND NEW got 230 hp, i belive that since the internals on the engine are the same, a superchip SHOULD give the 97 f150 the power it looses back with a chip and would ahve the same power as one of the newer engines chipped up as well, would this be a good assumption,

Na, the newer ones do have changes internally, take the heads and intake. Minor improvements, but still there. Chipping anything is going to be worth it.
