Misfire at cylinder #2 code

Can anyone advise me as to where to go from here? Had the code pulled at Auto Zone and not sure where to begin. Any advise is greatly appreciated. 2000 Ford F150 4.6L

Roy , you have COP's right ? Doesn't the 2000 4.6 have COP's? I think you do . #2 's bad . 2nd cylinder back passenger side , this one's easy to get to . Pull the coil and the plug - check out the condition of the plug, just look for the obviouse . Most likley you'll need a new COP.

Thanks again JBrew! Yes, I do have COP's. Does that stand for coil over plug? Are you thinking that the plug may be bad, or the coil itself?

It's a possibility. Could be an injector as well. I would pull the plug first and check it out. If it didn't look bad I would ground it to the motor and fire it up to check for a visual spark . Uplug your injector for #2 before preforming this test.
