Hey I have am thinking about putting some comp cams on my truck and i was wondering if anybody that may have had some work done like this before could help me out with what to expect. Is it worth the money or not?

I have one in an old FE iron block which is nothing like your engine. I do like the HE cam in it though. It gives the old girl some really good grunt when pulling grossly overloaded farm trailers. On asphalt, as long as the 275x60x15 tires are going at least 40 mph, you stand a good chance of just going when you hit the gas, anything slower and the rear tires just go to smoke. Of course, it also has a long list of mods as well. I don't know anybody that has tried any in a Triton.

HI!... Well if your heads are stock then don't waste your money. If you have stage II or stage III heads with CNC ported and larger valves then go fo it. I have full race prepped heads from FOX LAKE with some extras and I'm currently running COMP CAMPS. They are custom grinds that COMPS CAMS made for me and have 0.599/0.599 lift. Makes power up to about 6000RPM in N/A form. Currently making 354RWH.P/392RWTQ with 8.42:1 compression on all motor (N/A).

Neal, are you making that HP on 87 octane? That's right at 421HP at the crank. I think thats pretty impressive.

HI!... 87 OCTANE???? Whats that? LOL! I only run SUNOCO 94. Those dyno #'s are with "NO" tune either and possible low compression on #5 cylinder.
