get a procharger the vortechs are a paint to tap the oil pan and deal with leaks.
also procharger has the least power loss out of all the blowers on the market

I considered the same, but after looking at the cost options to do a quality job and the addition of better brakes etc. The loss, as in the you never get the the money spent in it when you go to sell.
Just as a suggestion, go find a lightning in reasonable condition, the depretion would probably be less than what you would spend modding yours. It would most likely be trouble free and is much faster than a blown 4.6.

just my idea.

Hi!!

R Headers and possibly flow thru cats a must ? You have all that air coming in, shoving out the spent would need a quick exit - well, more flow than OEM manifolds, cats ,cross-pipe etc..Do they work with stock components? They build the SVT 4R100 TRANS up at the factory to withstand horsepower numbers your talking here, wouldn't that be a concern . The rear-end ? Mannn, I really want to supercharge too, but - common sense ? Or am I over thinking it? I'm not that familiar with supercharging (yet, lol) When I'm finally there , I want to be able to take full advantage of it . Besides, I don't think I could hold back

Currently looking for headers and trans is coming next month , I'll be out of money again for awhile after that - haha, but it will be done

98 5.4 200k and tite! great Compresion - love it!!

Tapping the oil for a drain is not at all difficult, and as it is just a very low pressure gravity drain, the chance of a leak are minimal.
No, the Procharger does not have the least loss or the most boost if you are talking about centri blowers. Have look at the Paxton Novi 2000, which makes gobs more boost than the Procharger.
