Smile I love my truck!

I thought I'd write this thread.
My truck is nothing special. It's 2002 F150 XLT, Screw, 4x2, and all stock except for a grille guard, steps, rails, and a few random addons. It's only got about 80k on it so it isn't even in the 100k club, and it's had some minor things I've replaced w/ much pomp, like the o2 sensors.
But I still love it! I dunno why.. But it seems to me that it's reliable, and that it will last me, like I want it to, well into the 100k's, and even up to 200k, if I need it to. I bought it as a reliable truck, and it has been.
So far, it's been my party car for my friends, a firewood hauler for beach parties, and a fun vehicle (bed, grille guard) for my dates and I.
I really do love this truck model, and whenever I am able to upgrade, I will get more of the same: a newer, 4x4, four-door version.

Fordgirl, you rule!!! Finally a thread with positive in it. I feel the same way too, and have many people wanting my truck because it's rare, ultra reliable and very well kept, I gotta say, no ego. I do pretty much the same things with it, not a family man yet so it is still very utilitarian being only a reg. cab. Love it x3 and will die with it. Bless ya, have fun hun!!!

Just keep your eye on the rear axle seals. They go at any time

See, you guys rock! I'm excited that someone else is excited about these things. I like it a lot. And today, I was in my friend's civic, and we were parked next to my truck and I was looking up at it like wow, that thing's huge =)

Thanks!

Thanks. I like it, too. The last thing I'll do to it is have a Flowmaster 40 install on it. A shop nearby says they will install one for 200 dollars, IDK. So I'm saving up and will get one when I can.
I will scare all the boys with it.
