Hey everyone, i just got my first truck, i have always had mustangs, and i must say I LOVE MY TRUCK!

When in park or coming to a stop my engine makes some wierd nocking/squeaking sound. I also had it quit on me once when i was mudding today. I had the wheel turned all the way to the left when this happened, i lost power but all of the electronics were still on accept all warning lights were on and the mileage counter went blank.

I only have some light mods to the truck including a superchip, k&n air filter, and dual exhaust.

 

So, basically, when you are at idle, you are hearing squeaking and knocking?

What does your oil pressure gauge do when this happens??

 

Yeah it does this at idle, but maybe i cant hear it cause of the exhaust while im driving. I just had the oil changed so i didnt think of checking that gauge. Could this possibly be power steering?
