Red face I bought a oil pressure sensor where do I put it?

HI I just bought a 2001 F150 5.4L and love it. ON cold days my oil pressure gage doesn't read untill the engine warms up a bit, or if I rev the engine. There is no valve ticking or other noise. So I bought a new sensor and the guys at the ford dealer showed me a picture of it next to the oil filter. When I was under the truck it didn't look as easy as it did in the dealer. Does anyone have any advise.
