I have the 5.4 in my 2002 f150 and get the worst gas mileage driving to school and around town all the time. So I was wanting to improve it but cant decide. I was thinking about the FIPK K&N intake but, cant decide. please help

 

how bad is your fuel economy? i am getting 10-11 mpg in the city! try shedding some weight, make sure your fuel filter and spark plugs are in good condition. Use fuels with decent quality (shell, exxon, cheveron)! a intake might add some economy, but nothing that will be extremly noticeable! i am sure a custom tune will add economy if you can keep your foot out of the gas. hope this helps-
