Noisey 3 valve 5.4

I was wondering if it is just me or are all the 3 valve motors noisey? Some seem more noisey than others, but all that I have been around are more noisey most engines.

yes, the 3V 5.4 are noisey.....the 5.7 Hemi is also devloping a repuation for the "Hemi tick" the 4.6 in my work F-150 is whisper quiet.
