blowing cold air in the Cab

I have a '97 F-150 with 4.6L engine. I have noticed that the heat coming out of the vents is almost cold when idling and it heats up when driving. I thought maybe the thermistat was stuck open, so I had gone ahead and replaced it. I think there maybe something wrong with the cooling system. Does anybody have any advise on this? Thanks in advance.

From: Georgia on my mind...
Either the temperature control **** is split, not allowing the switch to turn from hot to cold, and/or the temperature blend door is broken. Search the HVAC forum for more details.
