I have a 2003 Ford F-150 with the 5.4L V8 engine that now has 100,020 miles on it. I want to go from the factory oil of 5W30 I believe it is to a heavier oil. Can anyone advise what the recommend using in one with over 100,000 on it.

 

The factory recommended oil is 5W20, not 5W30. Don't go any thicker than 5W30. Use whatever brand you want and change it regularly.
