Whoever is saying these custom changes cannot be done, is dead wrong.
Nothing like grinding your axe on someone else.
OK, you come and do it then, since you know how to press the buttons so much better. It doesn't work. I called edge, and they say they don't have a fix for it.

Chester, I have to clear the air here a bit.
First you have a loud mouth, your young and ****y.
I don't doubt your unit has a problem but downing it to others and making all kinds of accusations is only showing that you are not in perpsecitve of the situation when many others are using the unit to success.
I'm sure you will answer in kind but it makes no difference to me. Dosen't change a thing.
I will not answer you again.

They All Work

All the snake oil, BS miracle, in a can , fuel line magnets, etc, work.

They work for the guy selling them. He sells them- makes money-the scam works!

I 'm with Chester - speak for yourself Bluegrass - with 97-98 trucks you don't get all the goodies - the programming isn't their! that's it..

You didn't get all the bells and whistles until - when the PI motors were introduced in 99..

Anything before that won't accept allot of the programing offered, that's why I don't get one - WTF for ? ..........

You can say all that because you have a 2004 model truck, and yours woks fine. If you had an older truck like mine and found out how the unit was full of fruitless promises, you'd be moaning too! Take a look at the brochure on their website. From what the engineers tell me, my unit doesn't have a problem.

Also, Mr. Bluegrass, I'm sure you know that I have stated numerous times, that it does jerk the transmission as promised, and that the truck will spin out now, sometimes. And it very accurately displayes engine temp, and outside air temp.

chester, I don't know about you! Have you been eating to many peanuts?
LOOK in the upper right corner and SEE that my truck is an 2002 4.6L.
The Juice will not work on any truck earlier than 04.
I use a 2100 model EDGE the same as you should have/had.
The rest of what your saying is gibberish as well.
Maybe we can become friends yet.
You have to learn to be accurate and discuss apples with apples or peanuts and peanuts, as they say.
Then understanding comes about.
My PCM is the same as yours with minor version changes.
Even the Haynes book is for 97 to 03.
What else can I say.
I mentioned at a earlier time, that MSD has bought the company and internal changes are likely to be going on.
As a result there may be these communications and personal problems going on at the same time.
I'm sure it was not planned in advance for the difficulties to become a major hassle for some in the company or it's customers.
Look at the MSD website and you will now see a button to EDGE Products.
IMO,.......Later they may even do way with the EDGE website. Just a guess.
I have been through several company mergers and see how and what often happens.
A small number of people that have a problem will never be noticed unless they understand and try to get the company to work and rectify any problems. It's called helping yourself instead of complaining to others who cannot help.
You/we have a beta test situation that has been left go for some reason.
Why, I have no real clue except internal company changes may have caused this to happen within the same time frame and it has not been handled very well.
Their company reps don't seem to reply on this board any longer.
What with the bashing that has and does go on on this board about tuners, I wouldn't come on either if I were the reps after letting things deteriorate to this point.
What am advising is that everyone grow a little and stop being so critical about this and that. It does no one any good.
It's no different than other products; there are tires better than others, there are oil filters better than others, and so it goes.
You the public will vote for products with you wallet and general experiences.
If a product really has a problem 'overall' it will not last in the market place.
Of course individuals will have problems that make them angry. It happens to all of us at one time or another.
.
In my race engine, for example; the first set of push rods kept wearing the tips and causing the valve lash to open several thousandths each week. Finally had to use another maker's rods and ended the problem. Of course I won't use the first type again but I feel no need to tell the world repeatedly that they are no good, as a way to feel good about it.
It's called moving on.
I hope the EDGE is the worst in life you ever see but I don't think it will be.
Take care.

Whoops, you just did.

Who cares anyway, you're just getting into an imaginary pissing contest. You have two different trucks and got different results, big surprise there.

Besides that, I'd much rather people bash products when they don't work as opposed to keeping quiet, it helps me not waste money. It is a consensus that Fram oil filters suck the big one, but they're still around. TB spacers are bs and they sell like crazy. If someone is an idiot and bases all their purchases off the first negative (or positive) comment they read about a given product, then I don't feel bad when they get screwed. You have to do proper research and that means weighing negative with positive outcomes, it's not rocket science. Furthermore, isn't this thread about Juice Box?

I (for some reason) was thinking that you had a 2004, but regardless, it doesn't work on the 97 and 98 trucks. (despite what the manual says) But since I made a mistake on your model year, let's make fun of my life some more. Be real mature about it

I called them every couple of weeks for months, they've given me the run around each time. They will NOT help to solve my problems, they just say, "I'll get an engineer to call ya back" and they NEVER do. Read the evo thread. How many times did people post, "I called Rob, and he didn't answer etc."

You know this isn't true. I don't even have to give you any examples of products that were CRAP, but they sold them anyway, and took people for a ride.

I sure wish you'd tell me what kind they were, so I can steer clear of them. That's what this site is all about. I can decide whether or not to listen to ya.

If I bought a product from a company and it didn't work as they claimed I'd send it back. If they gave me a hassle about returning it I'd file a complaint with the BBB and if it was an internet deal I'd file a complaint with the FBI Internet Fraud divison. Even do a charge back if it was a CC deal. Been there/done that.

Heck even on Ebay I've had gotten parts that were junk and the seller stated they were A1 and refused to talk. Filed a complaint with Ebay/Paypal and within seconds the seller is willing to talk due to the fact his account is lock and he can't get to his money

My motto is say what you mean and mean what you say

this is crazy, it says "save hundreds a month on fuel bills" farther down in the listing in the Q & A section is says: "Does this increase or decrease my MPG?" "NO, your gas mileage will be the same. The change is virtually unnoticable!"

Weird huh!!! I guess if power were really that cheap, evryone would buy it!
