98 F-150 5.4L for reliability, buy or do not buy? 103,000km

I've got 165,000 MILES on my '97 and it's running great. Bought it with 62,000 miles on it some 5 years ago. That's a little more then 99,000 km.

103,000 km is only a little more then 64,000 miles... The 5.4 is just getting broke in!

Do have it checked out of course, if it looks good and does not seem to be abused, then it's probably a decent ride.

I've got 216,000 miles on my 97 5.4L F150. The engine runs smooth, evertyhing works and looks great. I bought a 2006 Trailblazer SS for my daily driver, and couldn't bring myself to trade the F150 in. I take it out to run it a couple of times a month. I get a grin because it reminds me of why I kept it....

I've got 180K miles on a '97 5.4 liter, doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil, if that makes you feel better.
