need help locating 5.4
well my 4.6 is gettin all sorts of tuckered out at 176k, sure sure i got 35"tires and 4.88 gears. but it should spin em? oh and not feel like i got some sort of forced air action going on when i nail it in 2nd when i dont have it?
Problem is, i can NOT find a 5.4L CORE in the inland NW. i am talking Spokane WA / Couer 'd Alene ID area. i figure if i post maybe some people within my leg running area might be able to offer some businesses who might have some. i really dont want to pay $1500 for a running 5.4 w/o computer to just tear it down and build it up just a little bit for some extra ponies. i seen neal's post on building his 5.4 (sorry bud, looks painful) and JMC's on swapping.
so if anyone knows of some businesses who might have some 5.4 Cores, could you post their info? im hoping to stay in N ID, WA, N /NE OR, and E Montana (forgot if its MA or MO lol)

Try http://www.car-part.com Do a search for a 99 engine block. You should find a few short blocks for under 500.00.
