yes v6s should have 4 cats, the hardest part that would be nice to have a friend is dropping the whole Y pipe and cross over piece down. Supercab and regular cabs should come straight down, its the supercrews with an extra crossmemeber that gets in the way

For the $$$ remove instead of gutting

The cats are worth alot of money as scrap. I was told $160. for all four and $100. for the rears alone. I'd, and I will be , removing the larger down stream cats. putting in some 2.5" 409 stainless pipe. If I'm going to get some more performance out of this truck, being paid to do it is cool. I plan on just turning off the rear O2's in my tune.

You sunk my battleship! Yes they are worth $$$ That honeycomb **** in there is PLATINUM(sp) and they are knocking it out with screwdrivers and throwing it away. PS they are worth $60.00 a piece and up to $160 a piece for the big GM's.

I took your word for it and busted out my front 2 cats yesterday. It was a PITA for sure just getting my pipes off. But anyway does yours sound like a 60 and 70's model muscle car? You know how it sounds like you can hear the exhaust running through your pipes. I kinda like it though sounds wicked.
