Great Crank just wont Fire.

Everyone, I've had my 01 f-150 super crew with its 5.4L sitting without a battery for about 2 months. So I got me a new one the tried to start it but it won’t “Catch". Does some type of security need to be reset? Also my "low fuel light" is on. So I added 1 gallon. But it's still on. Maybe I need a few gallons more? But if I do add a couple more and wont "Catch" or fire, what do you suggest? Also my screw is a 4x4 and I replaced the passenger side half shaft protection tube, what type of fluid is needed to re-fill my Front Axle Assembly?
Thanks everyone.

The man from down South

75W90 is what the book calls for. 2.0L or 3.7 pints.

Dude, better to be a bit embarrassed and have it a simple (no cost) fix than the other way around!! HA HA!

In your owners manual it should read how many pints and what fluid to use.

Ok, its back at it.

Ok here's the deal, when I crank, which it does fine, It wont fire unless I spray a little starter fluid and the it fires momentarily. So I must not be getting gas. I put in about 6 gals the other day and I dont driive it but just let it run for a little while. After I ran it for a while I let it sit for about 2 days before I started it up again and "no fire" but great crank(new battery). So I'm thinking I'm not getting any fuel. Now I bought one of those cheap obdII readers from HF and its not giving me any codes, but "Service engine soon" lights is on. I guess I got what I payed for. But any suggestions on how to check for fuel making to the engine would be appreciated..

Thanks
