Throttle response

What is the best way to get better throttle response and excelleration. It seems to me that when I push my gas peddle down it sluggs for a second or two and then finally wants to kick in. Any suggesions???

fuel filter, clean maf, clean tb also efans underdrive pullies and a tuner will wake it up

Do a search on here for Seafoam. Should clear it right up.
