Fuel Line Size?

Went to O'Reiley's today to pick up the fuel filter removal tool, and they've got two sizes, 3/8" and 1/2". Both are listed for 1985 and up F-series. What size is the right one??

I used the kit that has the ones for the A/C also, they are made of plastic, and come in different colors, all in one package, the one made of aluminum didnt work but on one side of my filter...

Yeah, you might as well get the entire set, its only like 10 bux. Then you have them for doing the lines at the fuel rail, A/C lines, etc. Plus every Ford car made after like 1988 uses them somewhere, so chances are if you are a Ford guy you will have uses for them in the future.
