Wait until your engine has cooled - Use a piece of rubber hose that fits snug over the white porcelain body of the new plugs to thread into the head - helps prevent u from cross-threading -
Personally I use anit-sieze because I believe it helps seals when expanding takes place.
Use dielectric grease inside the boot , top boot seam and seal gap between boot and head when installed to keep water from building up in the SP chamber and guard from pre-mature Cop failure.

Spark Plug Gap 1.32-1.42 mm (0.052-0.056 in)
Spark Plug Torque 10-20 Nm (84-180 Lb/In)

Your going to do everything you mentioned in one day? Changing Plugs on this motor is fairly time consuming 2 hrs at least - if you know what your doing ... If not - it will take twice that.

Good luck - let me know how you make out on it ( :

well just to inform u all... i havent started the truck yet but i finished. it wasnt all that hard but knock on wood i guess. ( im waiting for my air filter to dry before i start it. last night i spend an hour taking off the intake, unplugging all the cop and fuel injector wires, then labeling them. today i blew all the crud out and installed new plugs the only toold needed were 7mm for the cop's, 4inch extension.. also 3.8 drive spark plug socket, 8 inch extension (locking), 6 inch (locking) 3.8 ratchet, and one universal. also a torque wrench. ill keep ya guys updated tho.
