F150 Diesel for 2007???
I have started hearing/reading rumors again that Ford is planning to offer a 6 cylinder powerstroke diesel in F150's in 2007.
Are the runors true???
Please post some information about this baby powerstroke!!!
When will this engine be available???
I would trade my F250 King Ranch Diesel for an F150 diesel really quick.

What I heard was that Ford did not have the engine completely ready for market at year end 2006 as planned. The latest plan was to offewr it mid to late 2007.
I also heard that due to the new rules for 2007 diesel emissions, that Jeep quite manufacturing the Liberty CRD diesel early May, although some are still available at dealerships.
PLUS, Volkeswagen just announced that they would quit producing diesel cars for the USA on 31 December 2006 because the 2007 emissions regulations are unattainable by their diesels. Volkeswagen plans to overstock 2006 model diesels and keep selling them as long as they last into 2007.
The US Government has completely messed up almost every manufacturers diesel plans.
