what the heck could this be???

i have been having this problem for a while now as some of you may know. first i had a check engin light come on and had terribal sputtering and jerkeyness to the truck got a check engin light , i had a # 6 missfire so i changed the plugs and re-set the computer now the light is off and doesent jerk or miss like it did. over the weekend i felt a little miss around 30 -45 mph when i get on the gas and let off it pauses or sputters a bit just enoff to make you mad. it feels like a baby version of the #6 missfire. i ran a motor vac on her and she seems to run and idle allot better . but i still have that little miss and cant seem to figure it out i need your help!!!.i dont know if it is the fuel filter or maby a cloged cat or maby a coil but the coils all test fine ? its such a little miss it will not set off the check light im stumped . its a 2000 f-150 4.6 100k and advice will be great

I had to change 3 on my old 2001 F150...all within 5000 miles of each other....mileage was around 85K at the time.

Frigg around with the plug wires, clean inside the boots, add dielectric lube and reinstall. Last misfire I had, there was lots of moisture inside the bore where the plug sits, get engine hot, remove boots and moisture will evaportate by itself (mine's a '97, don't know if you have standard wires or c.o.p's.).
