Pin hole in head

I have a 1999 F 150 with the 5.4 V8. I have a pin hole in the right side head below the upper radiator hose inlet. Any ideas on a fix? I do not know if I want to spend $2000 plus on a truck that has 147,000 miles on it. Does anyone know a good place to find a remanufactured head and what they cost?

Is it leaking coolant or oil or combustion gas? If it is leaking coolant, drill it out , tap it and put a bolt in the hole with sealant.

Hole

It is a pin hole in the front and the coolant is speying on the fan. I thought about that but I have no idea how thick it is behind the hole.

With it being a 99, buy a new set (or one) of PI heads since you have a PI engine. Price has come done and you should be able to pick a new fully assembled head for about $365.

I would try the bolt first, if that fails then replace the head.

I had a similar issue and it was caused by a bad ground. The head corroded form the inside out. I had the head replaced. JB Weld lasted about 2 weeks

Cool

HI!... From the sound of what you explained, it's not the head at all. Sounds like it's leaking under the thermastat housing.

Or is it here :
