Count the ribs on the belt/pulleys you currently have. Many Mustangs have 6 ribs and most trucks have 8 ribs. You must match the number you currently have or the belt will not stay on.

Also, many truck underdrive pulley kits only have two pulleys where many Mustang kits have three.

I put some on my 05 about 3 weeks ago. Got em from MustangDepot on Ebay.
mustangdepot.com
Worked fine except for alternator pulley. Water pump and crank pulley did fine.

The answer is maybe.... I used a set of Steeda Mustang pulleys on a 5.4 that I dropped into a '99 Mustang and I think I just used a 6 rib belt, can't remember for sure as its been a while since I sold that car. If the pulleys you are thinking about are aluminum they are the piggy back style (vs. a replacement damper), you might just have to trial fit and see if they work on your setup.

Do they have different weights? I just bought the MotoBlue pulleys from RPM Outlet, haven't had a chance to put them on yet. But they replace the original harmonic balancer not piggyback it.

Do your mustang pulleys piggyback the existing harmonic balancer on your stang or does it replace the original balancer?

I am not sure if the balancer weights are different between the mustang and F150, but I would think it would have to be close in weight to stock to avoid excessive vibrations.

The 4.6 and 5.4 are both internally balanced and use the same balancer. The Steeda pulleys include a new balancer and its SFI approved. I've never heard of Motoblue so can't comment on them.

I did some research and Jet makes pullies that fit the f150 that have the same part number as does the 96-03 4.6 mustangs...All the other sites I looked at have different part numbers respectively because of the mustang pullies including the alt pulley....Thanks for the input on this though...
