Need EGR help!
So I am trying to find out if the EGR system is causing my pinging.
When I pull the vacuum line off the valve I can feel a low amount of pulsating vacuum from the hose. Is this normal?
Also there is no change to the idle when I pull the vacuum hose off the valve. Is that normal?
Is there a way to check if the valve is working?

There Is A Way To Test Your Egr Vale And It's Real Easy To Do. Get You One Of Those Hand Vaccum Pumps And Hook It Up To The Egr. Pull 5to6 Inches Of Murcery Of The Egr. If The Egr Is Good Then It Should Hold The Vaccum.the Egr Is Not Supposed To Work At Idle, park,or Nuetral.
