4.6 head milling or not on a head gasket swap?

i have a 4.6 romeo engine in my f150 and i broke it down and found out that my intake gaskets were weak and i believe it was allowing coolant flow down into the heads through the intak valves. but anyways i have my heads off and the head gaskets look fine. i bought head bolts $150 and a headgasket set for about $200 and i planned on getting my heads machined/milled down anyways. has anyone here had this done already or can anybody give the pro's & cons. should i get them macined or not. and if i do get them machined will i have any problems with them?

thanks guys i really appreciate all of your help and info in advance.

Yes, get them surfaced. Have them remove just enough to make sure they are flat.
