4.6 blowers ???

4.6 blowers ???

Ok, always been into mustangs, but i now have a 2005 4.6 triton and am looking into blowers. I only see vortech's, prochargers etc. for the 5.4, I know they gotta make em for the 4.6 as well, they do for the stangs!!! Sup, cant find any info....tia

Allen Superchargers uses an Eaton positive displacement Roots blower and Kenne Bell makes a positive displacement screw blower that'll fit your 4.6.

do they make any centrifugal blowers for the 4.6? are they any pros/cons w/ going to certain blowers?

centrifugal is less power loss from spinning mass... cooler intake temps... makes more power per PSI than roots blower ever will. and it makes more power up top. roots blowers usually peak boost at around 4000rpm while centrifugals make boost with the RPM.
