Performance question

I have a '97 F150 with a 4.6. I've looked around a bit and it appears that the hypertech tuners for the '97's only have tune for premium gas. I've been looking to perk mine up a bit but I don't really want to run premium.

All I've done so far is add an intake kit. Am I missing something on the tuners?

Thanks,
mhs

You can get an X Cal 2 custom performance tune for 87 octane...I have one on order for my 98 4.6L, and the 87 octane performance tune was the determining factor for me..

You can also look at the Superchips Microtuner (1715 I think?) It will give you 3 tunes, 87 Perf, 91 Tow, and 91 Perf. You can switch between tunes in 5 minutes...A bit cheaper than the XcalII, might be what you are looking for...
