Leaky valve covers

I need to replace the valve cover gaskets on my 1994 F150 5.0L/302. Does anyone have any helpful hints before I venture where I have never gone.... The intake manifold looks kind of intimidating.

Just keep putting oil in it. The valve covers are very hard to get to especially under the plentum. Not worth it IMHO

That's not what I wanted to hear. I knew it would be some work, but is it really that difficult?

It was for me. Almost a nightmare of a job, but it was my first time. Good luck.
