Air intake pipe mod

Air intake pipe mod

I've been reading the threads about the intakes & decided to do something to mine first. I removed the small section going into the fender & installed a 14" piece of 3" PVC. It fit perfectly into the intake pipe & into the fender. I'll see how it does since I'm racing my Ranchero this weekend & will race the 150 also.

that is super ghetto...but pvc doesnt handle the heat for to long

I did the exact same thing to mine before I found the Airaid Jr. I think it works well. I even shaped the end to help it plug into the fenderwell a little better.
