Question FIPK or 77 series intake

hey guys as you may know I have recently installed a K&N 77 series intake on my 03' f 150 with a 4.6. I was wondering if I should have bought the FIPK intake. It's kind of worrying me that I got the wrong one. Does anybody have the FIPK intake on their truck? and what does it sound like? feedback would be appreciated.

Isn't the 77 a FIPK too?

The only difference is the chrome tube that was meant to looks more fancy, other than that the end result is the same.

FIPK, It may be a little more expensive but it's worth it. The 77 series has the chrome tube and the metal will conduct engine heat meaning it's not a true cold air intake.

Yeah but what K&N adverts as the "FIPK" is the 57 series intake, which has a plastic tube that is smaller in diameter than a 77 and the 57 kit, I have always found runs less $$

K&N is claiming 13.12 hp gain with the non-metalic 57 series and 9.38 hp with your aluminum 77 series...
