EGR code clearing

I had EGR problems that hopefully have been resolved (bad DPFE sensor).

A guy at the parts counter told me if I removed a PCM fuse and count to 10 and put it back in, the EGR P codes would be cleared. If I still have a problem they will set again.

My '99 f150 4x4 4.6 owners manual showed 5 or so different PCM fuses. I started with the passenger compartment fuse panel, fuse #2 5A "PCM, Cluster". Pulled it, counted, put it back in, then started the truck. The service engine soon light went off and stayed off.

My code scanner isn't here yet, so I can't verify what actually got cleared or reset.

Clearing the KAM usually takes 10-15 minutes, not 10-15 seconds.

You found the correct fuse to dissconnect for the 99.
