Trading in :(

Sadly enough, at 107k, I'm trading in the '97 F-150 for an '03 Explorer and just have a few parting questions. What maintenance should I do myself @ ~50k miles (i.e. change plugs, clean MAF, etc). Also, should I start using 5 or 10 weight conventional or synthetic motor oil?

Thanks fella's...

I say good choice on the Explorer, but they do have problems, many! My mom had an 03 Eddie and it was sweet. The rear had issues, transfer case and the engine seemed to tick louder than normal, V8 it was. Others have had no problems so.... ya just do routine stuff, and like said before, don't start screwin with the oil, just keep the same.
