Oil Filter Recommendations
Oil Filter Recommendations
I remember someone doing a very in depth review of oil filters a while back, but can't seem to locate the article anymore. What are you people using and have you had any experiences that would make you avoid a specific brand of filter?

If you screw an empty oil filter can on there, you won't have any problems either.
The Fram is not much better than the empty can.
1977 Toyota Celica -- 371K+ miles -- Fram only filters. Current status, unknown.
1986 Toyota 4X4 pickup -- 420K+ miles -- Fram only filters. Still daily driven.
1992 Nissan Pathfinder -- 390K+ miles -- Fram only filters. Still daily driven.
All motors used Castrol oil, only.
Those "empty cans" ain't so bad.
Use what you want. It's your choice.

Thanks, though.
When you read a "study", take into consideration the many possible "slants" applied.
