Its Alive!!!

Nanners all around on me!

Received Xcal 2 today. Loaded up program and fired the beast up.
After six months of wire splicing, tracking down parts and busting my knuckles, she is finally running.
I still have to mount the heat exchanger, install exhaust system, replace some brake line and put the grill back in, but the end is finally in sight!

I stuck a 02 Harley edition supercharged engine and 4r100 tranny in a 98 F-150 super cab 4x4. The truck was a 5 speed before.

If you do. Try to find a donor Lightning and not a Harley. The electrical harness has extra crap in the Harley that is a PITA to sort out.

Truck with 2 engines.[IMG][/IMG]

Did you install a new steering column for the shifter? Going from a manual to an automatic must have been a bit of work.

V10 is not a bad idea. But I would think it would involve a lot more work than any V8 swap.
It all depends what floats your boat.

Yes, I picked up an automatic column from a 2000 lightning on E-bay. It is nothing special...just happened to be up for sale when I was looking.

Switched out the pedals also.

I started the project December 05 and have a week or so before it will be on the road.
I took my time, but didn't not anticipate it would be as involved as what it was.
