need compression on a 1988 lariat xlt

need compression on a 1988 lariat xlt

it's a 351 V8 and my dad is trying to run a compression test on it, but he needs to know what compression he should be looking for on the test. any idea?

My service manual specs 130-160 psi, all cyl's should be equal, plus or minus 10%. This means, if you have your best cylinder at 150 psi, the worst should be no less than 135 psi. Good luck.

so those stats are good for a 1988 right? thanks for the info! i called up my dad and told him the stats...he's gonna check this weekend i think.
