Question I want more torque

I want alot more torque. I have decided that i want to go for the aftermarket parts that are gonna get me torque in the lower rpms or all throughout the rpm range. I need some help on what the products are that will get me that torque i am looking for? i want my truck to be a torque monster.

Very easy, nothing multiplys torque more then gears. After that a s/c and if thats out of your price range like it is for many of us get a programer. Gears are one of the best bang for the buck. Head work will wake up your motor also.

absolutley gears........can you upgrade the cam easily in the newer trucks. I know all my buddies and me with mid 80's 4X4's first mod to the engine for torque was camshaft upgrade.

Some 4.56 gears will give you a nice amount of low end. So will a 150 shot of nitrous

The new trucks are already cammed for low end torque, so in my oppion that wouldn't be a valueable upgrade.
Go with gears, or a diesel.
