they are all the same. except for pi to non pi heads. also when they made the change to pi, the intake alone added power. the ford modular is a very small bore engine, with poor flowing heads and a long runner intake, throw in the overhead cams and it is hot rodding a little different thant the traditional 302 ford or 350 chevy.
unless you are going to do head work, there is not a lot to be gained from a cam swap. it is $$$$ and a b!tch. this is why forced induction is so popular with the modular crowd, for the cost of ported heads, cams and intake mods or replacement,gaskets, you can have similar or better gains from a supercharger.
