Check engine and abs lights will not go out!

My dad drives a 99 f150 and the Check engine and ABS lights are on. The obd II connector has been pluged in on several computers and is shows no codes! The ABS light is on and the breaks have been done all around and one of the hubs was replaced and idea why this is happening? Mike

You could have bad censors! Try haveing them checked out or replaced!

Make sure it is not a RED CEL.

Don't know why no codes when CEL is on????

I have a 99 5.4 4x4 and my ABS light was on. In most cases it is the speed sensor on top of the rear diff. Can only be bought at dealer about $22.00

Or if you had a hub replaced on the front sometimes metal shavings get on the wheel speed sensors and cause the light.

The way to tell if it is the diff is to start the truck the abs light should be off and stay off in reverse as soon as you start going forward a ways it will come on. If it is on when you start the truck it is most likely something else but I doubt it.

What kind of computers have you hooked it up to? If the light is on, there should be codes being thrown.
