I doubt it will. All ford vehicles that can run e-85 are marked "FlexFuel vehicles".

Check your owners manual. It should say whether or not it's a flex fuel vehicle. If you ahve any doubts, check with your local Ford Dealer.

Your engine has to be setup for it, but I think you can switch things to run it, probably made available at large pretty soon, this stuff is catching on quick,

I agree with BLUE20004X4
I just got off the ford website and under F-150s it says you can get your 3V 5.4L V8 converted to run off E85 as a free of charge option if you buy a new F-150. And it'll still run off regular unleaded gasoline too of course. So my answer to your question ajscarfo is no your vehicle is not designed to run off E85

So what keeps the uneducated driver from putting E85 into a vehicle not designed for it?

I've researched this before. Vehicles not designed to run E85 would have to have several new fuel system components. The tank, lines, injectors, pump and filter would all have to be changed. The reason is the ethonal is corrosive to normal fuel system components and will reak havoc on them. Now, what would happen if you got some. Most likely nothing, as I have run a half tank mix of E85 with premium gas and nothing was damaged. (this was before I learned of the dangers) It didn't run as well when it got down to a 1/4 tank or so.

If your vehicle is equipped to run E85, it will most likely have a little leaf with a winding road symbol on it.

probabally a larger gas tank nozzle fitting

remember back when they had "regular" leaded gas, the gas pump nozzle was physically a larger diameter than the unleaded one.

You could put unleaded in a car which was supposed to have regular, but not vice versa because the pump nozzle would physically not fit. The only way you could get around this was if you put it in the tank through a funnell or a gas can or something like that

I think they should go back to leaded gas. check out this site, and I hate the switch to ethanol. It cost more, burns faster, and burns through rubber, plastis, and fiberglass. and takes longer to produce. and theres a shortage of it. check out this site. http://www.ethanolstill.com/ since they switched from MTBE to Ethanol, my truck has not been driving the same. I'm taking it in to the dealer today. It's been burning a lot of gas. average 12mpg. since ethanol in gas.

The pump ends are the same size.

What keeps the uneducated from putting it in their tank hopefully is common sense. I haven't seen much less used ethonal yet, but don't they have a green handle or some color seperation. It's like at stations here in Canada, there is black handle for reg/plus/prem. and then a yellow for diesel. Depends on the gas station of course.
