17" in the front huh? Ford didnt start putting that size on their light trucks until two or three years ago. I call B.S. on the two diffirent sizes. I can see maybe a 215 in the front and a 235 in the back but surely not anything as drastic as 15" in the back and 17" in the front. I myself have owned a 1992 model and all the tires were 15" all the way around. And as I stated earlier, I know several people who own these trucks and this is the very first account I hear of that drastic tire size change. You never stated directly to my earlier question whether or not you owned this truck since new, you just said you owned it for several years, but saying you did own it since new, when you bought it didnt you notice how stupid it looked with the front end sitting 2" higher than the back?

 

ok if you would look back in my previous responses u will see that i got the truck directly from ford when they frist relaesed it and also i think i know what i am talking about, its pretty hard to say something and not know wut it was,.

 

Several things:
1. You're tires are NOT 15" or 17" tall. You have 15" rims. Not tires.
2. Your truck has 15" RIMS.
3. The rims are not mismatched. In 1991, a 17" rim was HUGE. There's no way a 17" rim would come factory. Hell, 16"s only started coming standard a few years ago.
4. Your truck might have mismatched tires, but then that'd be your fault for putting on the wrong sized tires. There's no way a 15 year old truck can have the original tires on it.

 

the tires are tow completely different sizes. i kno these tires artent 15 years old but see i replaced them with the same exact one form ford and i havent used any other type. the ones that i got when i obught the truck i ofund the smae ones then replaced it and thats what ive been doing.

 

15 and 17 is bs. only way they coulda happened is when u got ur last set of tires at ford they had a first timer there that was blind doing tires on urs and a 03 at the same time and mix matched them. a 17 back then is like a 22 now and well if u had 17's and 22's u would tell. trust me. better have another look or take some pics of the rims for us. i think they even have a differant bolt pattern!

 

Get us the tire sizes. It should be something along the lines of P235/60/R15.
All of the tire sizes. Then look at the white sticker in your doorjamb and get the tire size for us.
