No Smoke After Seafoam!!!!!

I ran a half can of Seafoam through my brake booster line today, let it sit for 30 minutes, and started my truck- no smoke. I revved it to 2500- still no smoke. Is this a normal occurance or is something wrong? I must say that I'm a little disappointed I didn't get a smoke show.

Ya, thats all it is. If your vehicle doesnt have all the carbon buildup and such it will not smoke. I ran seafoam through my 03 GT when I had it and it smoked like crazy. I then ran it through my fiancees sunfire and it didnt smoke at all. However the car did seem to idle smoother.

Well I suppose that's good then. I still wish I could have done a James Bond smoke show though . . .

I don't think so. I ran half a can through my friend's "early 90's" chevy with a V6 in it. The V6 has 200,000+ miles on it and he has done lots of modifications to it. When we did the seafoam treatment, it didn't do anything.

Double the RPMs that you revved it to and you will get smoke You've gotta give it the "italian tune-up"

I gave it the Minnesotan tune up. Ran half a can through the BB line, it kept running for about 30 seconds after the key was out. And after that i let it sit for 15 minutes. I had to get going to pick someone up, so i drove away with tons of smoke coming out. Nice thing about it, no one rides your *** anymore.

Ran it through a second time about a month after the first, after doing the lower intake gasket repair on my 97. Warmed it up, sent it through, and then let it sit and smoke off. Fixed rough idle after replacement, helped with the get up and go, and made the exauhst smell normal again. Think i had build up that was burning up.

I revved the truck to 2500 after waiting 30 minutes. I had no smoke. Since then, I've driven the heck out of it without any noticable amount of smoke. Maybe my engine really was clean. Is there anything else that would cause my truck not to smoke after seafoam? I don't have anything to worry about, right?

Nothing to worry about, and the Seafoam will only last a few miles before it burns out of the system... If you put in half a can, you can ususally get two full throttle upshifts (1-2 gear) before it gets burnt out. Mine didnt' smoke on start up either (103K at the time), but my friend's Landcruiser (177K) started smoking as soon as it got into the engine, before it was even done sucking it all up.
