Bad EGR???
How can a guy tell if its bad on a 98, 5.4 Triton. I have a rich fuel code on bank 2, would that be the problem? Mine when I shut the truck off makes noise. It makes a slow whine noise until it fades away...kinda like something is stuck and it slowly releases. Thanks...

EGR system faults do not cause "rich" codes.
Start with posting the actual code(s) received along with any other symptoms noted.
Locate the source of noise. EVR solenoids are pretty well knw for having strange sounds after engine shutoff due to bleed-off of vacuum.
