Question Ethos FR.....What's your take?

Has anyone else heard of this stuff? Is this just propaganda to make a quick buck in response to the rising gas costs or do you think this is legit?

I ordered a pint of it yesterday for around $20 to try it out. I saw two foxnews reports about it where they did emissions tests and saw lower emissions levels.

This article is about emissions, not improved gas mileage:

San Diego Area FleetSees Results From B20•Ethos

And here is another article...

Wait till temp1 post back with his results. Free R&D, can't beat that.

The paypal went thru on Sunday. I don't have a clue how long it will take to arrive at my door.

It may take a month for me to keep track of my current mpg before I start using it. My wife keeps track of her 2006 Honda Civic every fillup and the best she has ever gotten was 30 MPG. I will let her test it first. Maybe I can come by a Carchip soon so I can have some computer data.

Ah, man. That R & D from a Civic ain't gonna help us with our F150's. We're needing some apples to apples evidence.

Update:

The carchip order has been verified and should be shipping soon. I downloaded the carchip system development kit and have been looking at it. I have a skeleton Borland C++ Builder application that has used some of the calls in the SDK.

I have about 1/2 tank of regular gasoline left. Thats probably about 10 days worth. I will calculate the MPG for this last tank and then put the ethos in. It takes about 20 days for me to go through a tank.

Ethos FR

This stuff is FANTASTIC! Our product just arrived and we used it in our 2003 Civic. It's already running a lot better. According to the site, the product is non-toxic, non-hazardous and it's supposed to improve mileage up to 19% and reduces emissions of up to 30% (which improves the fuel mileage). There are a lot of distributors around now - I bought mine through www.savefuelusa.net. It takes awhile to get it coz it's in such high demand. The website for the product itself is www.ethosfr.com

Ok, today I put in 8 ounces of Ethos and 20.542 gallons of gas.
I also added 6 ounces of Ethos to the oil.

The last two trips have been:

1. 14.421 MPG
2. 14.770 MPG

I hope to post the Ethos results near the end of June and only use 2 ounces of Ethos per 20 gallons then.
