Need Intake Manifold Pics

okay i wont this off ebay they seller says its for late 90's 4.6L... it looks like it goes on a 5.4L due to location of the IAC. but then again it doesnt look near large enough to work on it. does anyone have pics of the plastic PI 4.6L intake manifolds... cause im sure its PI style but just not sure if it is a 4.6L or a 5.4L manifold any info and pics would help! since im tired of arguing with the seller... he is suppose to be gettin me a measurement of the width tomorrow night... should be around 14 1/2 inches though, if its for the 4.6L

It's one off a truck, I dunno which though. The water fitting going to the heater core is on the passenger's side front of the intake, in the cars it's on the passenger's side rear. The EGR valve is also in the wrong spot for an intake off a car.

Faster, can he get you a part number off it? I might be able to cross a part number over at work to see what it came off of.

HI!... My intake manifold on my 5.4 has the heater core nipple at the rear on the P/S. I believe that, is a 4.6 P.I intake manifold off a 4.6 truck.

Is it? I guess I've never paid hard attention to the truck engines. I know it's there on the cars, PI or not. That definitely isn't a car intake though, dunno if it's PI or not.

Most 4.6 EGR fittings are towards the rear of the engine. This one points to the left side like the 5.4s. It is a plastic intake with a metal crossover so it should be from a truck. That also means that it is at least a 2001 if it is from an F-150. I am thinking that it is from an Expedition. Does the seller have any other pics?

Guaranteed it's a 5.4L off a 2000 to 2004. The 4.6L we built in Windsor for a short time I believe still had the aluminum intake into 2002 or 2003. I've never seen a 4.6 truck with a black plastic intake. Maybe run a number on here so it may be cross referenced, but honestly I think you have a 5.4L. Also, I think the 4.6 intake was a hair taller too, I think.

It looks like the intake off my 2000 Harley F150. The 97-99 5.4 were aluminum, the 99 just got ported to accept the P.I. heads. Starting in 2000 they used plastic intakes on the 5.4's while the 4.6's in trucks used aluminum, and still do in the new body style I believe.
