Question need help

ok, my 98 f-150 triton 4.6 v-8 would not start it would grind as if it were getting no fire, after waiting for a tow truck i tried to start it again and it fired right up. well i drove to my local ford dealer and they hooked it up to troubleshoot, couldn't find a cause, but suggested things like changing spark plugs, peplacing fuel filter, downloading new computer up dates,so $1500 later they thought it would be fine. this past saturday as i was trying to leave home depot my truck would not start, it would grind as if it didn't have any fire,so instead of calling a tow truck i disconnected the battery and reconnected it and my truck started fine. anyone know what is going on here? what can i do to fix this?

I know what happened.................. You made the dealer happy! Time to find a new place to bring your truck and talk to the schmucks who got $1500.00 from you.
