Leak in Fuel Line

I changed my 1997 F 150's Fuel Filter and while everything I thought worked out fine, I noticed that there is a leak and I don't want to spend 400 dollars(Ford says) ON the entire line.

Alright, here's what's going on and where. HOpefully I'm clear enough because it's tough to describe.

OK, the Fuel Filter is in place, both lines were reattached and the click sound happenned on both ends. Now those ends where it clicks on are fine. Doesn't look like any leak there so I didn't break anything there I think.

But, going front from the fuel filter, there is of course the metal peice that clips onto the fuel filter then it shrinks down in size and then it looks like it's factory clamped onto a rubberish hose that runs for about a foot(I believe it runs that far but it's covered by a blueish protective sleeve) then back into a metal line. Now, it's right at the beginning of the rubber right where the factory clamp is. There seems to be a crack or hole and it leaks out from there which of course drips onto the frame then onto the ground.

Without buying a whole new line is there a way I can fix this? Some sort of tape or perhaps a rubber hose with clamps?

I'm not ordering online and I'm in Canada where these guys aren't. Thanks for the help but I was thinking something more of a quick fix as I'm trading this vehicle in anyways this week and I know the dealership will screw me over anyways for the value.

Find a bone yard and replace the part? This fitting is common to a lot of fords.
Good luck with the trade.

Replace the whole part eh? That seems like a lot of work. Yeesh. But I guess I gotta do what I gotta do. I was also thinking perhaps Teflon Tape or something sort of seal tape that isn't suseptable to fuel.

Advance Auto Parts stores sell a fuel line repair kit that has the quick-disconnects on one end.
