Replacing AC Compress Clutch - Question

Ok so my AC compressor clutch bearings are shot so I'm just going to replace everything up front on the compressor.. electrical component, pully bearing etc. I picked up the new part and there are some washers in it presumably for spacing/gapping would be my guess. Already took off the old part and there was a washer or 2 in that I think (or another spacer) but it dropped in my lawn and I cant remember the order. Anyone have any info/install instructions on this?

From: Georgia on my mind...
Assembly should go from the compressor: field coil (the thing with the connector on it) - pulley - snap ring - washers - flexplate - 8mm bolt.

The washers give you the running clearance. You need to check I thinks its about .019 max. any more than this and the "magnetic" field is not strong enought to work.

my a/c clutch went recently (making a terrible racket). with rebuilt compressors with clutch going for $100 on ebay, my mechanic brother in law recommended that instead of just the clutch. since he was putting it on, i didnt have to worry about how hard one or the other is so i'm not really sure how bad doing the whole thing compares. its installed and running perfect though.

i usually do most of this stuff myself, but this particular job scared me a bit so i respect you attempting it.
