V8 Swap

I'm contemplating swapping my manual L6 4.9 for a V8, would this be worth it? What would I need to complete this job?

I don't think it would be worth it, but i think the 4.9L is an excellent engine. Whether it's worth it or not depends on your needs, your resources, and how much work you want to do. You will need a complete running V8, meaning everything it takes to make it run, including the ECM, harness, sensors, injectors, etc., not to mention the complete engine itself, including exhaust manifolds and all belt driven accessories. You'll also need a flywheel or flexplate that matches the imbalance of the crank for the V8 you decide to use.
